Friends of Choices

I spent fourteen months in a very strict, long term program, and figured after all that, who needs a sober living? However, at the same time, I wanted to do what God wanted me to do, and things seemed to fall into place for me here. As it turns out, it's a good thing that I didn't get my own place right away. I've been through a couple of difficult times, and I needed the support and fellowship of my neighbors. I highly recommend the experience.

At the end of a small street there's an orchid farm. That's where Stepping Stones House is. We have a little community sharing a comfortable quiet camaraderie (fellowship).

Our house has three bedrooms and all the modern conveniences. It's on a quiet block very near shopping, theatres and restaurants. It is a snug and friendly atmosphere where although one is allowed to be alone, it isn't lonely, because there are residents close by who are friendly and giving. To be able to wake up in the morning with the assurance that you are in a safe place is priceless.
